CARGO INSURANCE
We know that your cargo travels many kilometers and there are risks in each of them. That is why Amikoo and Anova Marine Insurance – a company specialized in insurance for international trade – have developed Integral Solutions for Cargo Insurance that can be adapted to your needs and the sector in which your company operates.
WE HAVE TWO TYPES OF COVERAGE:
A) ALL RISKS / FULL COVER
It applies to new goods travelling in closed containers and covers all risks to which the goods are exposed during transport and which are a consequence of transport.
B) RESTRICTED / STRANDING COVER + THEFT
Designed for used goods or new goods travelling in open containers.
By taking out any of the aforementioned insurances, cargo protection is activated in a door-to-door scheme which starts when the goods are collected at origin to begin transport and ends when they are delivered to the place of destination stated in the policy or when they are delivered to the place of destination stated in the policy:
a) The goods are sent to a different place.
b) The goods remain in intermediate warehouses for more than 60 days.
c) The transfer of title to the property is carried out.
(d) more than 60 days after unloading the goods at the port of destination.
Policy issuance only takes a couple of minutes and we have the lowest policy factor in the market.
